Our curriculum is based on modified versions of the High Reach, Discovery World and Little People curriculums.
We have enhanced elements of the curriculum with more hands-on activities, manipulative expression and computer
aided instruction. The High Reach curriculum is used for the older children (ages 4 & 5), the Discovery World curriculum
is used for children age 3 and the Little People curriculum is used for the two year olds.
At New Horizons Discovery Centers we challenge children to do their best. Our teachers understand that
each students instructional needs differ. This is why we provide more individualized instruction, our classes are small and
each child is working at the most advanced level possible for their current developmental stage.
Every child has the capacity to develop fully in the right kind of environment. A sense of security and
trust is important. Our teaching staff know how to blend affection, understanding and curriculum to produce brighter
and happier children.
